We asked Masterworks Choral Ensemble’s patrons and choir members to share their thoughts. You will find some of their responses in our season brochure. Most relate to transcending the present moment. We believe this experience of being transported is what brings the choir and audience together.

This season’s music offers a vast spectrum of tones. October’s concert is sensual and classic. December is traditional and elegant. Harmony Sweepstakes in March is energetic and festive. April’s work is powerful and spiritual. June is warm and nostalgic.

Choral music evokes something different for each listener. Often, we feel the music in ways that words cannot describe. MCE has chosen “When the Choir Sings…” as the season’s theme because it is evocative, and it calls on you
for a response.
