Love, Lament, Laughter and Light
October 16, 2010
Throughout history, people have created music to express the great depths and broad reach of the heart and soul: from joy and levity to sadness and sorrow, from religious passion and spiritual exploration to the boundless realms of human love. Music can reach for the profound or delight us as pure entertainment, but it always delivers us from the mundane. This concert explores the range of human experience with songs of love, lament, laughter and light.
